Colette Roberts- chair of HC PFLAG, and her spouse Jim have been active with our chapter for 12 years. They raised 4 children and have 7 grandchildren. Their second daughter Nina is a lesbian and the catalyst for sparking their interest in supporting parents who have GLBT children, and in working with the GLBT community. Both Colette and Jim have embraced chapter members as the best family they could ever ask for!! With them are their animal companions, Xena Warrior Princess and Miss Molly.

Kevin and Stefan have been members of PFLAG-HC since 2003 and Kevin serves on the Chapter's Steering Committee and Co-Chairs the Chapter's Advocacy Committee. They have been together since July 1995, and were religiously married in 2003, they are waiting on the Civil authorities to catch up with their church. Their son Carter was born on December 8, 2006 and is currently the youngest member of PFLAG-Howard County.

Pat is the chapter's membership chairperson, a member of the Parent Forum and works on the newsletter. Perryn is an active member of the chapter's Rainbow Youth Alliance (RYA). Pat says this caption should read "just an ordinary family".

Well maybe, but extraordinary people!

Steve Charing, the chapter's media coordinator, has served on the Steering and Advocacy Committees since 2004. In that capacity, he is responsible for chapter publicity and working with the media--both gay and mainstream--in getting our message out. He has also hosted "Gay Jeopardy" and coordinated and participated in other meeting programs. Bob Ford assists with logistics at each meeting and along with Steve, helps staff chapter booths and various community events and fairs.

They have been together since February 1980 and reside in Clarksville.

Randee Wilding and Josh Sullivan adopted Sebastian as an infant in October 2005. Josh has been an active and valuable member of the chapter's Advocacy Committee. Randee and Josh have been together since February 2001 and make their home in Columbia.

Rob Lance has been a member of our chapter's Steering Committee since May of 2001. He is responsible for newsletter production, our website and our email announcements. Tim assists with newsletter production.

They have been together since September of 1978 and currently reside in Columbia.
